The Bishop of The York-Credit Valley Episcopal Area, Rt. Rev. Philip Poole and The Ven. Peter Fenty, Archdeacon of York and Executive Officer to the Bishop of Toronto visit the Sudanese Community Church of Toronto and St. Olave's Anglican Church on January 29th 2012 at 10 30 am. This is a get together occasion for the people of the two sister churches to know themselves.
It is worth mentioning that through efforts of Ven. Peter Fenty who worked with us tirelessly to see that the Sudanese Community Church finds a place for worship and Rt Rev Philip Poole’s considerate recommendation, we are able to attain Rev. David Burrows' cordial welcome for the Sudanese Community Church of Toronto to worship at St. Olave’s Anglican Church. How important we feel to come together as flocks of the same barn, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour!
Our struggle to find a place for worship could have not been easy without the help of Rev. David Burrows and his considerate Church Council Members, who open heartedly, welcome us as brothers and children of God. Every moment that we have in St. Olave’s Anglican Church brings blessings and encouragement that we have brothers and sisters to stand with us at time of our needs. Let us give thanks to God and pray to have our dreams come to pass. When you reach out to other people in need, God will make sure that your needs are supplied. Come and join us to receive the amazing blessings!
